Vinzes is a highly experienced Senior Occupational Therapist with more than eight years of clinical experience across Australia and the Philippines.
Vinzes is passionate about supporting children and young people to participate more confidently and meaningfully in their everyday lives. His approach is neurodiversity-affirming, strengths-based, family-centred, and grounded in the belief that every child deserves to feel understood, respected, and celebrated for who they are.
He has extensive experience supporting children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing differences, emotional regulation challenges, and difficulties with self-care, play, motor coordination, and school participation. Vinzes incorporates child-led, play-based, and relationship-focused approaches into his sessions, creating a safe and engaging environment where children can build confidence and develop skills through activities that are meaningful to them.
Vinzes also has experience completing comprehensive Functional Capacity Assessments and NDIS reports. He is familiar with a range of standardised assessments, including the Sensory Profile, Vineland-3, BOT-2, DASH, and MIGDAS. He works collaboratively with families, educators, support coordinators, and other health professionals to ensure recommendations are practical, achievable, and relevant to each child’s everyday life.
Alongside his clinical work, Vinzes has held senior and practice leadership positions, providing supervision, mentoring, and clinical support to other allied health professionals. He values reflective practice and is committed to ongoing professional development, evidence-informed care, and continuously improving the quality of support provided to children and families.
Outside of work, Vinzes enjoys spending quality time with his family, staying active, discovering new places, and growing his Pokémon collection. His interest in Pokémon often helps him connect with children who share the same enthusiasm—although they may know far more about the latest Pokémon than he does!
As a Filipino Occupational Therapist, Vinzes values culturally responsive practice and understands the importance of building genuine and respectful relationships with families from diverse cultural backgrounds.
